On a night when WKU was out-rebounded by 20 and missed 11 of their 26 free throw attempts they were able to dial it in from long range as they stormed back to defeat Charlotte 74-66 Thursday night in Bowling Green.

WKU (9-5, 2-0) was led by senior guard TJ Price with 21 points, finishing 4-9 from beyond the arc, and four rebounds. Power forward George Fant added 18 points and 11 rebounds while Chris Harrison-Docks banged in 5 three’s finishing with 15 points.

The Hilltoppers wont have long to enjoy the win as number 25 Old Dominion comes to town this Saturday to face WKU. ODU (13-1, 2-0) is riding a 10 game win streak and hold wins over LSU and Georgia State this year.

Tip is scheduled for 4:30p/5:30p at Diddle Arena and will be carried by the Hilltopper Sports Network
