University of Louisville wide receiver James Quick has been nominated for the 2015 Paul Hornung Award. The award is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. During the 2014 season, Quick had 36 receptions for 566 receiving yards and three touchdowns. University of Kentucky’s Stanley “Boom” Williams was also nominated. Chinanu Onuaku earns gold medal with USA U19 team

On Sunday, University of Louisville’s Chinanu Onuaku earned a gold medal with the USA Basketball U19 team. The team defeated Croatia 79-71 in overtime in the title game of the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. Onuaku totaled six points, eight rebounds and a team-high four blocked shots in 28 minutes, helping the USA claim its second straight U19 World Championship. In seven games during the event, Onuaku started six games and averaged 4.6 points and 5 rebounds.... Read more
