Western Kentucky jumped on top of the third ranked Louisville Cardinals early and often, beating UofL at Jim Patterson stadium 7-3, The loss snaps a 4 game winning streak for the Cards who fall to 31-10, while the Hilltoppers improve to 21-17.  Read more

However after losing the entire starting secondary, and other key players to either graduation or the NFL, many expected the cardinals to slump somewhat in 2015. Graduate transfer Damion Lee picks Louisville

LOUISVILLE — U of L head coach Rick Pitino has dedicated this off-season to scouring the college ranks in search of new shooters to add to the Cardinals’ roster for next year, and he’s officially landed one of his top targets. Graduate transfer Damion Lee informed Scout.com on Monday morning that he will be taking his talents to the Commonwealth to play at the University of Louisville next season.
