UofL Hosts the NCAA Softball Regionals

The UofL softball team will take to the field against I-P Fort Wayne in game one of their NCAA Softball Regional on Friday night. UofL, which is ranked Number 12 nationally, has never advanced past the regional in program history. This is the third straight season UofL has been a host site. KSTV’s “Radio” Ron Chilton and about a dozen others enjoyed Wednesday’s sunny, warm weather by taking part in Metro Parks’ “50 and Over” games. The UofL baseball team is embarking on a three-game series that will determine the Big East Conference regular season champion. The 10th ranked Cards kicked off their first game against the 16th ranked Pittsburgh Panthers Thursday night at Jim Patterson Stadium. The Cards went into the game riding a season-high 13-game winning streak. Coach Dan McDonnell says he’s not thinking about a sweep, he just wants his team to play good baseball.
