The Kentucky Wildcats claimed their 30th SEC Tournament Title on Sunday defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks, 82-65. De’Aaron Fox walked away with the Tournament MVP award after averaging 22 points in UK’s three victories over Georgia, Alabama and Arkansas. Fox was also named to the all-tournament team along with Bam and Dom Hawkins.  Read more

UK baseball completed a 3 game sweep of #23 Cal-Santa Barbara with a 12-1 victory at Cliff Hagan Stadium on Sunday. The Cats outscored UCSB 17-4 over the 3 game set after taking the Friday game 2-1 and then winning Saturday 3-2 Sophomore Justin Lewis threw a gem on Sunday carrying a perfect game into the 8th inning before allowing a solo home run. In a senior night for the ages fans got to say goodbye to Makayla Epps and Evelyn Akhator then watch as the UK Hoops team knocked off the third-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs 78-75 including a huge put back that proved to be the game winner by Epps. Kentucky hangs on to beat Georgia on the road

After a slow and ugly start in the first half for Kentucky with eight turnovers, the Cats still managed to go into the first half with a 33-31 lead. Malik Monk and Bam Adebayo scored eight points, with Adebayo adding five rebounds and Monk dishing out five assists. The Louisville Cardinals improved to 22-5 (10-4) following at 94-90 victory over Virginia Tech Saturday at the Yum Center. Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 26 points and chipped in 5 rebounds as the Cards were able to withstand a 3 point shooting barrage from the Hokies. Kentucky, playing without Sacha Killeya-Jones, Mychael Mulder and De’Aaron Fox, needed overtime to hold off the Georgia Bulldogs Tuesday night in Rupp Arena. After falling behind 12-0 to start the game the Wildcats scrambled to knot the score up at 29 at the half.
