TJ is an Anchor for Spectrum News. You can catch his work on KSTV, the only nightly show in the state focusing on UK Sports. When it comes to UK Basketball, TJ covers recruiting, the NCAA tournament and everything in between. During March TJ probably sees the players more than he sees his family but he’s able to provide Spectrum News viewers the unique insight that only a lifelong fan can give. He’s also taken on several special programs including “Wildcat Forever: The John Stewart Story.” KSTV airs weeknights at 7:30 and 11pm on Spectrum News or watch it anytime with Spectrum On Demand. Jon Toth goes undrafted but signed with 49ers

After waiting for the last 3 days Jon Toth didn’t hear his name be called in the 2017 NFL Draft but he did sign a free agent deal with the 49ers. He was rated the No. 6 center and the No. 234 prospect overall by CBS Sports. The Indiana native will compete with Jeremy Zuttah and Daniel Kilgore in San Francisco for the center position.  Read more 

Malik Monk declares for the NBA Draft

One day after De’Aaron Fox declared for the NBA Draft, Malik Monk has done the same thing. In a letter published in “The Players Tribune”, Monk made his intentions for the NBA Draft clear and issued a thank-you to several people, including Big Blue Nation. Kentucky pounds Clarion in first exhibition game

Photo: UK Athletics The UK basketball team finally had a chance to play against someone other than themselves and they handled their business just about as well as they could have. The Cats blew out John Calipari’s alma mater, Clarion, 108-51. Bam Adebayo led the way with 14 points and 13 rebounds and Malik Monk was the top-scorer with 15 points. Marcus McClinton returns to share his passion for UK football
