Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer. He now produces Sports Night, the state’s only nightly show dedicated to in-depth coverage of all sports in Kentucky. Sports Night airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News or anytime with Spectrum On Demand. Outside the station, Garrett enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and prides himself on being all-in as a sports spectator. He won a gift card for playing an air guitar in the student section during an MTSU basketball game. The Louisville Men’s basketball team had Duke right where they wanted them, down by double digits in the second half. But the Blue Devils managed a late surge on the three point shooting of Jayson Tatum and Luke Kennard, and came back to beat the Cardinals 81-77 in the quarterfinal game of the ACC Tournament. Kosair Charities and the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame have officially released the 2017 class of inductees. Featuring eight historic figures in the Kentucky Athletics, each member will be honored with a bronze plaque at the induction ceremony on June 1. In what the team hopes is not the final home game of the season, the 14th ranked Louisville women’s basketball team pulled off a big senior night victory over visiting Virginia, 66-55. Junior guard Mariya Moore and redshirt senior Briahanna Jackson did not play in the game.
