It’s been a busy 24 hours for the UK football team in terms of recruiting and it brought some very good news as the Cats added two defensive backs to their 2018 recruiting class. The first came last night from Stanley Garner, who is a four-star prospect according to Rivals and ranked as the #31 cornerback in the nation. Four-Star Cornerback Commits to Kentucky

Kentucky football added another big player to its 2018 class Wednesday evening. Four-star 2018 cornerback Stanley Garner picked Kentucky over Louisville and Alabama. ranks Garner as the No. 31 cornerback in the 2018 class. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida native stands at 6-foot-3, weighing 180 pounds. Garner becomes the 17th commitment in Kentucky’s 2018 class, which now features four four-star prospects (per’s rankings). SEC Network's Cole Cubelic Weighs in on Cole Mosier's Injury

Kentucky’s offensive line took a big hit over the weekend when senior offensive tackle Cole Mosier tore his ACL during Saturday’s scrimmage. Mosier, who is one of the leaders on the offensive line, will miss the 2017 season. He does not have any remaining eligibility left at Kentucky, ending his career at UK. Marvin Bagley, the nation’s number one high school player in the class of 2018, announced that he is reclassifying to 2017 and will play for Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils this season. Bagley still has to be cleared by the NCAA, but if he is eligible to play, this is a big get for Coach K.
