De’Aaron Fox scored 39 points as Kentucky beat UCLA 86-75 to advance to the Elite Eight. This is the Wildcat’s third trip to the Elite Eight in the last four seasons. Fox hit a jumper right before the end of the first half to give Kentucky a 36-33 lead at the break. Former Memphis AD RC Johnson talks about his relationship with Calipari

RC Johnson served as the University of Memphis’ Athletic Director from 1996-2012. Johnson hired John Calipari as the men’s basketball coach in 2000 and the two developed a very special relationship during Calipari’s nine seasons at Memphis. Tomorrow’s matchup between Kentucky and UCLA will mark the third time the two bluebloods have met in the NCAA tournament. The last time they played in the postseason was in 1998, when Kentucky won 94-68 en route to their seventh national championship. Josh Pastner discusses his relationship with Coach Calipari

John Calipari returns to Memphis this weekend. He spent nine seasons as the head coach at the University of Memphis from 2000-2009. Calipari compiled over 250 wins with the Tigers and helped put the program on the national stage.
