Bradley McKee

Bradley is a Video Journalist for Spectrum News. He covers UK athletics for KSTV, Kentucky’s only nightly half-hour show dedicated solely to UK sports. Bradley’s background is in news photography and he’s owns the distinction of covering the most NCAA Final Four games of anyone else on the staff. He’s a graduate of Spalding University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in communications. The Fleming County native led his high school to back-to-back state tournament appearances in 1998 and 1999 and even has a day in February named after him in his hometown of Flemingsburg. Picture Perfect: Classmate Draws Romeo Langford And Highlights Accomplishments

New Albany senior cheerleader and artist Lili Kaelin has a special gift in drawing portraits. Kaelin says it was important for her to draw New Albany senior basketball star and classmate Romeo Langford before he graduated and moved on to the next chapter in his life. Kevin Knox Tours The Bluegrass

After entering his name in the 2018 NBA Draft and hiring an agent, Kevin Knox is touring the Bluegrass doing an autograph signing tour. This past weekend he started in Louisville and went all the way up to Northern Kentucky. It was an opportunity for fans to see and talk with him that didn’t get a chance to come to Rupp Arena. Former Wildcat Coaching Back in the Bluegrass

Former Wildcat Dale Brown is back in the bluegrass coaching in Northern Kentucky. He’s trying to build a program at Calvary Christian, a K-12 school in the 10th Region that has a total enrollment of 129 students. Dale Brown was a member of the 1992-93 and 1993-94 Kentucky team. He transferred to UK after playing two years at Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College, where he was a First Team All-American. Wildcats Get Manhandled In College Station 85-74

This game was a totally different outcome than the game back in January when Texas A&M came to Rupp Arena, as the Wildcats won 74-73. Both teams have changed in one month’s span. The Cats are now 4-6 in their last 10 games and Texas A&M is 6-3 in their last nine. Kentucky played a solid first half, leading 30-26 at halftime. Yesterday the Indiana Pacers beat the Charlotte Hornets 105-96 in Indianapolis. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist played 23 minutes scoring six points and grabbed four rebounds. Malik Monk didn’t play but on the season he is averaging five-point-two points per game in just seven minutes per game. Kentucky Fans Bleed Blue For a Good Cause

The community blood supply is really low in Kentucky, so Kentucky Blood Center is giving donors a chance to rebuild that supply while also proving they bleed blue during the 10th annual Big Blue Slam this week. Big Blue Slam, which is January 22nd through the 26th, puts Kentucky fans against Florida fans to see who can donate the most blood. All donors will receive a special long-sleeve T-Shirt. Cats execute late to beat Vanderbilt 74-67

For the second game in a row, Quade Green didn’t not play along with Tai Wynyard and Jarred Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt warmed up with the team and looked loose and ready to play, but Coach Cal said its best for him to play in front of a home crowd in Rupp. It looks like that may happen when they play Florida this upcoming Saturday January 20th.
